Websites- Cloud: Twitter Element

The Twitter Social Element in Cloud Sites allows for easy integration of Twitter content directly into a webpage. Whether showcasing a feed, embedding a tweet, or adding a follow button, this element provides a streamlined way to enhance social connectivity and engagement.

Adding the Twitter Element

To insert the Twitter element:

  1. Create a layout structure using columns for better control over sizing and alignment.

  2. Open the Add Elements Drawer from the left sidebar.
  3. Scroll to the Social section and locate the Twitter element.

  4. Click, hold, and drag the element into the desired column or block.

Using columns helps manage the element’s dimensions more effectively, especially in responsive layouts.

Configuring the Twitter Feed

Once placed, select the Twitter element to access its settings via the Options Toolbar on the left. Key configuration options include:

  • Username: Enter the Twitter handle (e.g., @MinistryBrands) to display the corresponding feed.
  • Display Type:
    • Embed: Shows the full Twitter feed or specific tweets.
    • Button: Adds a follow or share button.
  • Theme: Choose between light or dark display modes.

These settings are managed by Twitter and reflect the platform’s styling and behavior.

Styling and Layout Adjustments

To adjust the appearance:

  • Open the Settings Panel to modify:
    • Width and Height: Customize the size to fit the design.
    • Alignment: Position the element within the column or block.
    • Styling Effects: Apply background colors, shadows, borders, or use duplicate/delete options.

Responsive Design Considerations

The Twitter element is designed to render responsively across devices. Minimal adjustments are typically required for tablet and mobile views. Width settings may be fine-tuned to ensure proper display, but the embedded content adapts well to various screen sizes.

Once configured, the Twitter feed or button is ready for publishing and will display live content directly from the selected Twitter account.
