Websites- Cloud: Facebook Element

The Facebook Social Element in Cloud Sites allows seamless integration of Facebook content into any webpage. Whether displaying a like button, embedding a post, or showcasing a group or page, this element provides flexible options for enhancing social engagement directly on-site.

Adding the Facebook Element

To insert the Facebook element:

  1. Open the Add Elements Drawer from the left sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the Social section.
  3. Locate the Facebook element.
  4. Click, hold, and drag the element into the desired block on the page.

Facebook Element Options

Once placed, select the element to access its settings via the Options Toolbar on the far left. The Facebook element offers several display modes:

1. Button Mode

  • Displays Like and Share buttons.
  • Options include:
    • Like or Recommend
    • Button or Boxed layout (stacked format)
  • Under Advanced Settings:
    • Choose between Small or Large button sizes.
    • Option to remove the Share button.

2. Embed Mode

  • Allows embedding of specific Facebook posts or videos.
  • Paste the desired Facebook URL into the provided field.
  • Under Advanced Settings:
    • Option to disable full post view for a cleaner layout.

3. Page Mode

  • Displays a Facebook Page feed.
  • Paste the page URL and choose layout options:
    • Timeline
    • Events
    • Messages

4. Group Mode

  • Displays a Facebook Group feed.
  • Paste the group URL and choose between light or dark skin.

All content rendered through these modes is managed by Facebook and may vary based on the source settings.

Styling and Layout Adjustments

Additional customization options include:

  • Width Control: Adjust the element’s width to fit the design layout.
  • Background Color
  • Alignment
  • Styling Effects: Apply shadows, borders, duplicate, or delete the element as needed.

Responsive Design Considerations

The Facebook element is designed to render responsively across devices. For example, when using the Button Mode, the layout remains consistent on tablet and mobile views without requiring additional adjustments.

Once configured, the Facebook element is ready for publishing and will display live social content, encouraging interaction and engagement.
