Websites- Cloud: Map Element

Including a map on a contact page enhances user experience by providing a visual reference for location. Cloud Sites Map element makes it easy to embed interactive maps directly into a webpage.

Inserting the Map Element

To add a map:

  1. Open the Add Elements Drawer from the left sidebar.
  2. Locate the Map element.
  3. Click, hold, and drag the map into the desired area on the page.

A placement line will appear to guide positioning between existing elements.

Customizing the Map

Once the map is placed:

  • Click on the map to activate its settings.
  • Use the Options Toolbar on the far left to enter a specific address or location.
  • Adjust the zoom level to zoom in or out for better visibility.
  • Apply filters to modify the map’s appearance.
  • Customize alignment, width, and height to fit the design layout.

For quick adjustments, use the resize handles on the map element to manually change its dimensions.

Responsive Design Considerations

To ensure the map displays correctly across devices:

  • Switch to tablet and mobile views.
  • Select the map element and open its settings.
  • Adjust the height and width independently for each device type to maintain optimal layout and usability.
