Article Layout

This is an archive of all the articles available on your Amplify Website module, which can be filtered based on your preferences. You can customize the filters and number of articles displayed per page. Additionally, you can choose which parts of the article are shown, providing varying levels of information. This element is commonly used for serving opportunities and news/announcements.

Element Settings:

  • Columns: the layout element will default to 9 items and 3 columns, but you can adjust the number under this tab
  • Display: this is where you can enable/disable content within the element (ie: images, title, date, category, etc.)
  • Page: connect your element to the Article Detail element under this tab. See details here.
  • Filter: this tab controls the filter bar display and labels. The "parent category" can be used to segment out a specific set of articles and set a specific category list by a parent category.
    • For example, if you have a category list for "News" and a separate category list for "Volunteer", selecting the parent category of "Volunteer" will only show the volunteer categories in the filter dropdown, as well as only show articles with the "Volunteer" category assigned.
  • Advanced: with this tab, you can add additional category filters
