Website Upgrade: Update Your Website's DNS and Launch Your Site

In order to have your website fully functional once it's been upgraded to Amplify, you will need to follow the steps in this linked article to fully launch your website. This will require updating information within your site's DNS (Domain Name System). If this doesn't sound familiar to you, here are some ways to figure out where your DNS is hosted and get your site live.

  1. If you are unsure of who your domain registrar is, you can head to who.is to find it. Type your website in the search bar.

It will then return who your domain provider is.

You can then work with your organization's team and domain provider to determine login credentials from there.

**NOTE: The who.is tool will display your primary registrar; however, you may have purchased from a third-party reseller.**

  2. Each DNS provider is slightly different, so to assist you we've compiled help articles from several different providers HERE.

  3. Ministry Brands does not own your domain or have access to your domain information. This is something that was likely set-up with your domain prior to setting up your website with us or through the process of launching your original site. We encourage you to search for this information prior to your site being upgraded so that you can fully launch your site when the upgrade is complete.

  4. If you already know where your DNS is hosted, you can log into that provider and update your domain name records that will show when you go to "Publish Site" in your new website.
